Thank you for helping test Sewing Room PA before its public launch. This agreement covers what you get, what we ask of you, and how your data is handled during beta. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, which also apply.

What you get

• Full access to Sewing Room PA during beta, free — including scan credits to test with
• Foundation member status — free lifetime access, as a thank-you for testing
• If you run low on credits during testing, email me and I'll top you up
• A direct line to the founder — your feedback genuinely shapes the app

What we ask of you

• Use the app with your real collection — real patterns, real fabric — for the length of the beta
• Specifically, try to: add 10–20 patterns, some fabric, and at least one measurement profile
• Tell me what confuses you, what breaks, and what delights you — honest feedback is the whole point, you can't hurt my feelings
• Complete a short survey at the end of testing
• Keep unreleased features confidential until public launch
• I'll ask for your thoughts on pricing separately, in a short survey — nothing pricing-related lives in the app itself right now, so just keep those questions and your answers between us until launch
• You're welcome — encouraged! — to tell people the app exists and is coming

Your data during beta

• Everything you add during beta carries over after launch — nothing is wiped
• This is test software, so occasional bugs are expected. We back up regularly, but we recommend using the app's export feature as your own safety copy during beta
• Your data is private to your account, exactly as described in our Privacy Policy

The practical bits

• You can leave the beta any time — just let us know. You can export your data first, and we'll delete your account on request
• Beta dates are shared with you when you join. We may end or extend the beta period and will keep you posted either way
• You must be 16 or over to take part
• By taking part in the beta, you're accepting these terms
